In calendar year 2025, the use of solar energy at this facility generated approximately 795 megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy. Since 2019, the system has produced over 5,000MWh of renewable solar energy, saving annual carbon dioxide emissions by 1 035 tonnes of CO2e* compared to standard UK grid sources of electricity. (*When calculated using UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DENZ) conversion factor of 0,207 kg CO2e/KWh). Since 2020, we have achieved zero industrial waste-to-landfill for our manufacturing site, which we are committed to maintaining.
When it comes to the raw materials used in our products, we are committed to responsible sourcing with attention to potential impacts on people and the environment. Through our parent company, we work with suppliers and partners to map select sensitive supply chain ingredients back to the mill or farm. Increasing our understanding of our supply chain down to the source helps us to understand risk and opportunities at a local level. We know that there is more we can do and are working to strengthen our approach to protecting biodiversity and local communities.
In order to champion progress and continue our journey of improvement, we recognise that we must embrace education and commit to challenging perceptions and practices. As proud members of various organisations, we are able to implement key learnings and share in new processes and practices to guarantee that we are continually evolving and improving.

Nos racines britanniques nous habitent ; notre amour de nos paysages et de l’excentricité de nos personnages s’exprime dans tout ce que nous faisons. Pour nous, rien ne vaut notre maison, et c’est pourquoi 97 % de nos produits sont faits dans notre pays d’origine.
Nos bougies sont fabriquées artisanalement dans une ancienne laiterie des collines de South Downs, et passent par les mains talentueuses de 16 artisans. Ce processus offre une leçon de minutie et de patience.
Notre principal site de fabrication se situe dans le Hampshire, où 90 % de nos produits sont créés. Construite sur mesure pour nos besoins, Whitman Laboratories est une installation qui utilise un système solaire à mégawatts qui génère 12-14 % des besoins annuels du site en électricité (jusqu’à 95 % durant les mois d’été) et contribue à la mission de notre société-mère : obtenir une empreinte zéro carbone.
Durant l’exercice fiscal 2020, ce bâtiment a produit environ 830 mégawatts-heure d’énergie solaire, réduisant nos émissions de CO2 de 490 tonnes métriques par an.
